You're absolutely right in everything but I don't get why you invalidate the opinion of Eminem being the "master of rap" because he's white. I mean, personally I dislike 99% of rap or hip hop music but he's for sure one of the most successful rappers.

riotfairy answered:

i’m not about “success”

do you consider race

do you consider that hip hop and rap are fundamentally Black genres

it doesnt belong to white people

and yet people insist eminem is king of the castle cream of the crop

like fuck off with your disgraceful piece of racist white trash opinion

eminem raps about nothing important

there is no substance, no political agenda, no solidarity

like whatever cool im happy he’s made a whole tonne of money rapping about whatever the hell he raps about, beating up his wife and his lil girl or whatever the fuck

but dont tell me he is the master of hip hop that really grinds my fuckin gears

I’m a huge fan of his older stuff and will still stand by it. Buy I will forever say that people who claim he is the best rapper of all time and “dont like 99% of rap/hip hop” are bullshitters. Not even because he’s white, but because you don’t have any credibility in your opinion.

i didn’t even know what a sharpener was until i came home in the 3rd grade with one listed as a school supply

Ok where tha hell are y’all from where this is normal? That’s some backwoods shit.

Bro. Let me tell you a story. When I first got to America, I was bullied really bad. But one day in 6th grade, I took the insults that came at me because I was used to it by then. Got up to sharpen my pencil then brought out a small razor blade and started hacking away. My teacher fliiiippppeeddddd. She called all the teachers in the area of the class thought I was going to use my razor blade to kill all her students. They had to sit me down and shit and tell me I was in America and that’s what they had pencil sharpeners for.

It’s Okay, That’s Love

As I am re watching “It’s Okay, That’s Love,” I am also putting puzzles of the pieces together. With this I am also realizing how amazing this show is and i’m falling deeper in love with it. What struck a cord with me was on the third episode,  while Jae Yeol is talking on the radio he says….

The first time the main character, MAC Murphy, saw the patients at the psychiatry hospital, he believes that he is completely different from the patients that he meets.

He utterly disregards them and mocks them. We as the viewers are not exempt from it. “we’re different from those people, there’re the crazy ones, and I’m perfectly normal” that’s what we always think.

But as the movie plays and the plot unfolds, we are thrown in for a surprise.

It’s because the characters that we once thought were strange, dark, psychotic and delusional are now seen as sweet, adorable, helpless and pitiful… The mental patients we all pointed our fingers and laughed at but the unique pain of the individuals that we get to realize one we get to known them. This is what psychiatrist say, that we are all patients of sorts, ourselves.

Just like the common cold, a heartache is a frequent illness for all. That we must all recognize that and understand each other’s pain.

By doing so this world will become a bit more beautiful than it already is.”

This monologue is what I think defines the drama, It also breaks down the fourth wall I believe, as he is also talking to us, the viewers of this drama for us to realize our own faults and understand ourselves.
